Marco Bruno has been appointed Global R&D Head for Avgol’s nonwovens business, part of Indorama Ventures, effective February 11, 2026. He brings over 20 years of experience in textiles and nonwovens, including expertise in high-technology textile substrates and innovative material development.

Marco Bruno joins Avgol, an Indorama Ventures company, as the new Global R&D Head for its nonwovens business. He has more than 20 years of experience in the textile and nonwovens sector and holds over 10 international patents in advanced breathable functional materials and material engineering innovations for nonwovens.

In his role at Avgol, Marco will focus on strengthening collaboration with partners across the value chain to ensure that research and innovation result in measurable benefits for customers. He will also work within the company’s global cross-business R&D community, engaging with teams developing next-generation fibers for nonwovens and enhancing surfactants for technical and personal care applications.

Aligned with Indorama Ventures’ market-led innovation strategy, Marco aims to contribute to solutions addressing trends and requirements in the baby diaper, adult incontinence, and feminine care sectors. Avgol will showcase its expanded portfolio of soft nonwovens designed to meet diverse customer needs at INDEX, the world’s leading Nonwovens Exhibition, scheduled for May in Geneva, Switzerland.
