Orthopac RVMC-20 plus and RVMC-15 upgrade solutions to be highlighted in Istanbul from 9–13 June

At ITM 2026 in Istanbul, Mahlo GmbH + Co. KG will showcase technologies aimed at supporting textile manufacturers in optimizing production processes, improving quality, and enhancing resource utilization. The company will participate alongside its local partner, Masters Limited.

Mahlo has worked with the Turkish textile industry for decades, supplying measuring, control, and automation technologies for textile manufacturing. The company notes that manufacturers are increasingly seeking solutions that support quality improvements while helping manage production costs.

One of the technologies on display will be the Orthopac RVMC-20 plus, the latest generation of Mahlo’s weft straightening systems. The system incorporates camera technology and control mechanisms designed to detect and correct fabric distortions, including at high production speeds and with complex fabric structures. The technology is intended to help reduce waste, limit off-quality production, and maintain fabric quality consistency.

Modernization of Existing Installations

In addition to new equipment, Mahlo will highlight retrofit solutions for existing Orthopac RVMC-15 installations. The company stated that many textile producers are exploring options to modernize existing production lines without replacing entire systems.

The RVMC-15 plus upgrade package is designed to bring existing installations to the latest technological standard. The retrofit package includes updated camera technology, software enhancements, optimized control components, and an improved user interface. According to Mahlo, the upgrade is intended to deliver greater straightening precision, faster response times, and improved operational reliability while retaining the existing machine infrastructure.

“Especially in today’s market environment, manufacturers are under pressure to optimize their production processes while keeping investments manageable,” explains Thomas Höpfl. “Our retrofit solutions for the Orthopac RVMC-15 offer customers a practical and economical way to upgrade their technology and benefit from the latest Mahlo developments without replacing the entire system.”

Mahlo’s technologies are designed for a range of textile applications, including delicate fabrics and technical textiles. The systems support Industry 4.0 integration, remote access functions, and real-time process monitoring.
