Mafatlal Industries Limited Secures Major ₹114 Cr Deal to Establish Robotics Labs in Odisha

Mafatlal Industries Limited has secured an order worth approximately INR 114 crore from Odisha Computer Application Centre. The project will be executed over five years and involves setting up robotics laboratories in Odisha.
Mafatlal Industries Limited announced that it has been awarded a contract valued at around INR 114 crore by Odisha Computer Application Centre, the Technical Directorate of the Electronics & Information Technology Department, Government of Odisha. The contract will be implemented over a period of five years.
Under the agreement, the company will establish 500 robotic laboratories across 16 districts in Odisha under the School and Mass Education Department. The scope of the project includes setting up robotics labs and providing training and education services as part of the implementation.
Odisha Computer Application Centre functions as a centre for training, IT solutions, and e-governance within the state.
The initiative is aimed at supporting STEM education among school students through hands-on robotics learning. The project is positioned as a large-scale robotics education programme in India and is aligned with the company’s focus on expanding its digital infrastructure activities.
The development forms part of ongoing efforts to implement technology-based education initiatives in collaboration with government institutions.
