Mafatlal Industries Launches Mafatlal Home Fashion to Expand Direct-to-Consumer Business

The new digital platform offers over 400 home-textile and home-essential products, including more than 150 bedsheet designs.
Mafatlal Industries Limited (MIL), the flagship company of the Arvind Mafatlal Group, has launched Mafatlal Home Fashion, a dedicated digital platform offering more than 400 home-textile and home-essential products directly to consumers.
The launch marks another step in the company’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategy, building on its textile heritage of more than 120 years. The platform covers bedding, bath, baby and kids, and seasonal categories.
Home-Textile Range Includes Over 150 Bedsheet Designs
Bedsheets form a major part of the Mafatlal Home Fashion portfolio, with more than 150 designs available. The broader range includes dohars, comforters, blankets, towels, children’s bedding, baby essentials and mattresses.
The dedicated storefront enables consumers to access the company’s home-textile portfolio through a single digital platform.
Mafatlal Industries Focuses on Direct Consumer Engagement
Commenting on the launch, Priyavrata H. Mafatlal, Managing Director & CEO, Mafatlal Industries Limited, said, "Mafatlal Home Fashion marks a deliberate step in how we are building our consumer business. We bring over 120 years of textile capability to this category, and we now want a direct line to the people we make for. Marketplaces gave us reach. Our own platform gives us understanding, and understanding is what builds a brand over the long term. We will use it to sharpen our products, respond faster to what consumers want, and grow Home Fashion into a meaningful part of the Mafatlal business."
The platform complements the brand’s existing presence on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and Meesho. While these marketplaces provide an established sales channel, the company’s own platform is intended to offer direct insights into consumer preferences and shopping behaviour. These insights will inform decisions related to products, designs and consumer engagement.
Home-Textile Market and Corporate Gifting Opportunities
The launch comes amid projected growth in India’s home-textile market. Industry estimates value the market at USD 11.91 billion in 2026, with a projected increase to USD 16.76 billion by 2031. E-commerce expansion is among the factors identified as supporting market growth.
In addition to individual consumers, Mafatlal Home Fashion offers customised home-textile solutions for corporate gifting. These include products for employee gifting, client engagement and events.
Expansion of Mafatlal’s Digital Consumer Platforms
Mafatlal Home Fashion follows the introduction of Mafatlal MedFits earlier in 2026. Both platforms reflect the company’s approach to developing owned digital channels across consumer categories.
Going forward, Mafatlal Home Fashion plans to progressively expand its home and lifestyle assortment while continuing to develop its digital consumer experience.
