Made in Filo at Filo66 Showcases Innovation Across the Textile Supply Chain

The fourth edition of the fabric collection highlights yarns, processing techniques and material development inspired by Filo66’s “Botanica” theme.

The “Made in Filo” collection will return at the 66th edition of Filo, presenting fabrics developed using materials supplied by exhibitors at the fair. The initiative demonstrates the potential applications of these materials while highlighting the technical characteristics of the yarns and production processes involved.

A Collection Developed Around the Supply Chain

Now in its fourth edition, “Made in Filo” is an initiative developed by Filo to demonstrate the transformation of materials showcased at the trade fair into finished fabrics. The project involves Filo, participating exhibitors and several partner companies.

For this edition, the collection draws on the three themes of “Botanica,” which forms the focus of Filo66’s product development proposals available on the Filo website.

The three themes explore different approaches to yarns, structures and fabric development:

  • Spontaneous: Simple yarns are used to create fabrics with a more natural feel.
  • Expanded: Inspired by the concept of an Italian garden, this direction features subtle weaves and effects.
  • Hybridised: This concept allows greater creative freedom through highly structured jacquards and more technical yarns.

Research and Innovation at Filo66

The “Made in Filo” fabric collection will be displayed in a dedicated area focused on research and innovation during the 66th edition of Filo. A preview of the collection is also available through a short presentation video on the Filo website.

The 66th edition of Filo is scheduled for September 15 and 16, 2026, at Fiera Milano Rho, Hall 24.
