Lindström Expands Service Network in India with New Sanand Facility

New facility in Ahmedabad’s Sanand Semicon Hub will strengthen cleanroom and workwear services for customers across key industrial sectors.

Lindström is expanding its service network in India with a new facility in Sanand, Ahmedabad, located at the centre of the newly developed Semicon Hub. The investment increases the company’s service capacity and strengthens its ability to support customers in some of India’s fastest-growing industrial segments.

New Facility to Serve Key Industrial Sectors

The Sanand facility will serve customers in industries including semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, electronics, aerospace, green energy and medical devices.

The expansion is expected to improve service availability, increase operational capacity and provide customers in the region with closer and more responsive support. It also strengthens Lindström’s capabilities in cleanroom and workwear services.

Investment Supports India’s Manufacturing Growth

Jayant Roy, Managing Director India at Lindström, said:

“India is one of the world's fastest-growing manufacturing hubs, and our investments in Sanand reflect Lindström's long-term commitment to supporting this growth. The new facility strengthens our ability to provide high-quality, reliable and sustainable textile services closer to our customers, including the fast-developing Semiconductor segment in addition to industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, engineering and electronics. The new unit will also create additional job opportunities – both directly and indirectly in that region. We are proud to contribute to India's manufacturing ecosystem through solutions that enhance safety, productivity and sustainability,”

Focus on Circular Textile Services

The investment forms part of Lindström’s strategy to grow alongside its customers and help them create value while improving operational efficiency and sustainability through circular textile services.

The new facility is intended to strengthen the company’s regional support as industrial activity expands across India.
