LANXESS India Wins Three ICC Safety & Sustainability Awards

LANXESS India has been conferred with three esteemed awards by the Indian Chemical Council (ICC). The accolades include the ICC-Vinati Organics Award for Excellence in Management of Health & Safety for its Jhagadia site, along with two ICC-Epsilon Carbon Certificates of Merit under Responsible Care for being the best compliant company in the categories of ‘Security Code’ and ‘Product Safety & Stewardship Code’. These honors underscore LANXESS’ strong dedication to safety, security, sustainability, and responsible chemical practices.

The awards were presented in Mumbai by Shri Deepankar Aron IRS, Joint Secretary Chemicals, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. LANXESS representatives Namitesh Roy Choudhury, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, and Balaram Khot, Wholetime Director and Head of PTSE, accepted the main award on behalf of the company. The two Certificates of Merit were received by Rajiv Gaur, VP – Head of Procurement & Logistics, and Naresh Mude, Head of Site Health, Safety, Environment, Jhagadia.
