KnitMesh Technologies Introduces PyroCore® Actuator Mesh
UK-based KnitMesh Technologies has expanded its portfolio of knitted wire mesh solutions with the introduction of PyroCore® Pyrotechnic Actuator Mesh, a high-performance product developed for use in pyrotechnic actuation systems operating under extreme conditions. The launch builds on the company’s long-standing experience in safety-critical mesh components for industrial applications.
PyroCore® has been developed as an extension of KnitMesh Technologies’ existing actuator and airbag filter solutions, drawing on decades of expertise in knitted wire mesh engineering. The new actuator mesh is designed to support controlled gas flow, effective particulate filtration, thermal dissipation, and energy management within demanding pyrotechnic environments.
The product is intended for use in modern pyrotechnic devices where precise control is required during activation. PyroCore® helps manage shock waves, moderate temperature spikes, and capture particulates generated during deployment, supporting consistent and repeatable system performance in applications where conventional filter materials may be insufficient.
KnitMesh Technologies is headquartered in the United Kingdom and operates additional manufacturing facilities near New Delhi, India. This global manufacturing footprint enables the company to support customers throughout the product lifecycle, from early-stage prototyping to large-scale production.
