Kipaş Textile Installs New Monforts Thermex and Monfortex Systems at Kahramanmaraş Facility
New dyeing and finishing plant begins operations with round-the-clock production and expanded processing capabilities
Kipaş Textile has added a new Thermex continuous dyeing range and a Monfortex sanforizer to its dyeing and finishing plant in Kahramanmaraş, Türkiye.
The company currently produces 400 tons of yarn per day and operates annual production capacities of 48 million metres of denim and 36 million metres of non-denim fabrics.

Continuous Production Since Commissioning
According to the company, the newly installed Monforts systems have been operating continuously since commissioning.
The Thermex continuous dyeing range is designed to support high-volume production while providing controlled dye application and colour consistency across production runs. The system also enables the processing of smaller production lots.
The Thermex system combines precise application technology with advanced process control.
The Monfortex sanforizer is designed to achieve low residual shrinkage levels while maintaining fabric quality. Its enlarged shrink cylinder and rubber belt technology are intended to support shrinkage performance while reducing operational costs.
Discussing the installation process, Mr Gümüser said:
“We are extremely satisfied with the installation process of the two Monforts machines installed in our new fabric dyeing and finishing plant, and with the professional support provided by the technicians. In particular, the uninterrupted remote support they provided to ensure operational continuity played a major role in quickly resolving any potential problems.”
Focus on Product Versatility
Kipaş stated that its manufacturing strategy includes a broad product portfolio covering technical textiles, fashion fabrics and sustainable material solutions.

fibR-e Recycling Platform Expands Circular Textile Efforts
At the end of 2025, Kipaş introduced its fibR-e recycling platform, developed to address challenges associated with polyester recycling.
The initiative was launched in partnership with Adana-based Meltem Kimya and focuses on processing waste garments containing 70% or more polyester. The recovered material is converted into certified filament yarns and staple fibres for use in new textile products.
Speaking about the initiative, Mr Gümüser said:
“Recycling has barely scratched the surface of the polyester problem. With fibR-e, we can take real post-consumer waste in all its complexity and return it to the market as certified, high-quality filament yarns and staple fibres. This is how the industry moves from linear to circular, not through pilots but through commercial scale.”
He added:
“As the global market’s expectations for sustainability and circularity increase day by day, we at Kipaş see this process not just as an adaptation phase, but as an area where we can assume leadership. With our innovative investments such as fibR-e and strong technology partnerships with companies like Monforts, we are ready to meet these demands at the highest level.”
Monforts to Highlight Developments at ITM 2026
Ahead of ITM 2026, Monforts highlighted the Kipaş installation as one of its recent projects in Türkiye.
