Jeanologia is presenting its latest software developments at PI Apparel Europe: The Fashion Technology Show, held on March 30–31 in London. The showcase focuses on digital product development and environmental impact measurement in the fashion industry.

Jeanologia is demonstrating new software-based approaches to product development, highlighting the integration of artificial intelligence, digital design, and data-based sustainability tools. The company’s presentation at PI Apparel Europe centres on improving efficiency, accuracy, and workflow integration in garment production.

A key feature of the showcase is Billy, an artificial intelligence system developed for denim design. The system converts garment images into production-ready laser designs. By analysing elements such as contrasts, creases, and wear patterns from a photograph, Billy generates a laser file for manufacturing. This process replaces manual design steps that traditionally required extended time.

The development of Billy is based on Jeanologia’s experience in laser technology and denim finishing, with AI trained on production designs accumulated over more than 25 years.

Jeanologia is also presenting eDesigner, its digital design platform for denim product development. The platform allows users to create and modify garment finishes in a virtual environment before physical production. It includes simulation tools that enable visualization of washes and effects, as well as real-time adjustments. The platform is designed to reduce the need for physical sampling and support collaboration between teams and suppliers.

In addition to design tools, the company is presenting the EIM (Environmental Impact Measuring) platform. This system is used to assess environmental parameters associated with garment finishing processes, including water, energy, chemical usage, and worker impact. It provides data that can be used to compare processes and monitor changes over time.

“The industry is moving towards a new model where creativity, efficiency, and sustainability must coexist within the same workflow,” says Carmen Silla, Marketing Director at Jeanologia. “Technology is what makes that integration possible.”

The company’s presentation reflects ongoing developments in the fashion sector, where digital tools and data are being integrated into design, production, and evaluation processes.
