Jeanologia Highlights Water-Free Denim with Environmental Impact Report

Jeanologia presented its Ecological Profit and Loss Account on World Water Day, highlighting environmental metrics associated with the use of its technologies in denim production. The announcement was made in Valencia on 3-22-26.
The report measures two primary indicators: the volume of polluted water avoided and the reduction of CO₂ emissions. Since 2015, the company has been auditing and publishing this Environmental Profit and Loss Account to quantify environmental outcomes linked to its technologies.
In 2025, more than 21.5 million cubic meters of polluted water were avoided through the implementation of its solutions. This volume is equivalent to the annual water consumption of a city such as Copenhagen. Additionally, over 103 million kilograms of CO₂ emissions were reduced, comparable to the carbon absorption capacity of a forest exceeding 20,000 hectares in one year.
The reported impact is associated with the use of technologies including laser, G2 ozone, low consumption eco washers, e-Flow nanobubble technology, H2 Zero water recycling systems, and Colorbox dyeing solutions. These technologies are used to reduce water consumption, eliminate certain processes, and support production systems aimed at zero discharge.

The company reports that more than 5,000 machines are installed across over 70 countries, contributing to changes in denim production processes. These installations are used to reduce water and chemical usage and modify production methods.
Jeanologia also provides the EIM (Environmental Impact Measurement) platform, which enables measurement and monitoring of environmental performance in production processes. The platform is used by brands and manufacturers to assess and adjust operational practices.
“For years, sustainability was understood as a future commitment. Today, it is a measurable reality already in motion. The industry has the technology, the knowledge, and the responsibility to operate within the limits of the planet,” states Enrique Silla, CEO and founder of Jeanologia.
The company continues to implement its ‘Mission Zero’ roadmap, which focuses on reducing water usage and eliminating environmental impact in textile production.
Jeanologia, founded 30 years ago, has developed technologies such as laser systems introduced in 1999 for denim finishing, as well as solutions including G2 ozone, Dancing Box, e-flow, H2Zero, and ColorBox. These technologies are used in garment design and finishing processes with the objective of reducing water, energy, and chemical consumption.
