Jeanologia Champions 5.Zero Sustainable Production in Pakistan

Spanish technology leader Jeanologia is reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and modernization in Pakistan’s denim industry with its participation at IGATEX 2025, held from April 24 to 26 at the Karachi Expo Center. The company is showcasing cutting-edge innovations, including the Compact Super—the fastest laser system on the market—and its Laundry 5.Zero production model, which represents a cost-neutral, fully digital, scalable, and eco-efficient denim finishing solution.
Jeanologia’s nearly 20-year presence in Pakistan has played a pivotal role in transforming its denim sector. The company’s technologies—including laser, ozone, e-Flow, and H2Zero water-recycling systems—have drastically reduced water consumption (by up to 85%), chemical usage, and worker risk, while enabling efficiency for operations of all sizes.
At IGATEX, Jeanologia is presenting its automation and digitization solutions to support higher productivity, lower costs, and reduced environmental impact. The Laundry 5.Zero model, already operational in Pakistan, represents the next generation of sustainable manufacturing—offering zero pollution and full traceability.
“Hyper-automation is not only a way to reduce costs; it is also a key tool for sustainable, traceable production that meets the market’s new challenges,” says Umer Khan, Jeanologia’s Area Manager for Pakistan. “With Laundry 5.Zero, we have shown that it is possible to scale up sustainable production without sacrificing profitability.”
As Pakistan’s textile industry contributes 8.5% to its GDP, Jeanologia sees it as a strategic partner in the global shift toward responsible production. Collaborating with local mills and exporters, Jeanologia is helping fortify Pakistan’s position in the sustainable denim market.
With over 35% of global denim production using Jeanologia’s technology, the company continues to lead in digitalization, traceability, and environmental responsibility. Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, Jeanologia remains committed to Mission Zero—a bold goal to completely eliminate water and harmful chemicals from garment finishing processes worldwide.
