Yarn manufacturing is expected to play an increasingly important role in the textile machinery industry as global fibre production approaches 169 million tons by 2030. At ITM 2026, the Yarn Hall located in Halls 6, 7, and 10 will bring together industry stakeholders to review developments in spinning technologies, smart manufacturing systems, and sustainable production models.

The exhibition, scheduled for 9–13 June 2026 in Istanbul, will present advanced extrusion systems for filament production alongside automated and energy-efficient spinning technologies. Digitised production infrastructures will be highlighted as tools for improving transparency, operational control, and sustainability in yarn manufacturing.

Fully automated winding systems integrated into ring and rotor spinning lines will be showcased as part of connected production flows covering processes from bale handling to packaging. These systems are designed to reduce operator dependency, standardise quality, and support higher productivity through coordinated process management.

Modular spinning configurations will also be featured, with an emphasis on integrated logistics and reduced energy consumption. Flexible system design is intended to support capacity planning, scalable investment, and adaptable production structures that respond to changing market conditions.

Circular production and the use of recycled fibres will be among the main themes of the Yarn Hall. Spinning systems aligned with mechanical recycling processes are intended to enable waste materials to be reintroduced into production, improving resource efficiency and lowering environmental impact.

Rotor spinning technologies for short and recycled fibres will be presented with a focus on operational performance and cost efficiency. Developments such as advanced piecing systems, self-cleaning yarn guides, and multiple start functions aim to reduce maintenance requirements and strengthen production continuity.

For yarn producers, the ITM 2026 Yarn Hall is positioned as a venue to compare spinning technologies, review sustainable manufacturing approaches, and evaluate future investment options. The event is expected to facilitate direct interaction with technology suppliers, support business partnerships, and provide insight into market trends influencing the yarn sector.
