ITM 2026 Opens Tomorrow in Istanbul with Over 1,000 Exhibitors from 55 Countries

ITM 2026 International Textile Machinery Exhibition is set to open tomorrow, June 9, at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul. The five-day event, running through June 13, will bring together more than 1,000 companies and company representatives from 55 countries, creating a platform for technology demonstrations, business networking and international trade opportunities.
Organized in partnership with Tüyap Tüm Fuarcılık Yapım Inc. and Teknik Fairs Inc., and in cooperation with the Textile Machinery and Accessories Industrialists Association (TEMSAD), the exhibition will showcase the latest developments in textile machinery and production technologies for the global textile industry.
ITM 2026 is expected to highlight innovations that are shaping the future of textile manufacturing. Leading global manufacturers will present digitalization solutions, artificial intelligence-powered production systems, automation technologies, sustainable manufacturing processes, energy-efficient machinery and smart factory applications. Visitors will have the opportunity to observe machinery in operation, learn about emerging technologies from industry experts and explore research and development solutions designed to improve production efficiency and sustainability.
The exhibition will also serve as a meeting point for companies seeking new investment opportunities, strategic partnerships and technological transformation. Business-to-business meetings organized during the event will provide exhibitors and visitors with opportunities to establish commercial connections and explore potential collaborations.
Delegations from major textile-producing countries, including Pakistan, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, India and Egypt, are expected to participate alongside international investors and industry stakeholders. Organizers anticipate that the exhibition will facilitate machinery sales, business agreements and long-term partnerships across the textile machinery sector.
Istanbul’s location at the intersection of Europe, Asia, North Africa, the Middle East and the Turkic Republics is expected to support strong international participation. Organizers also noted that visa arrangements between Türkiye and several countries, including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Vietnam, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Iran, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, are expected to make travel easier for industry professionals attending the exhibition.
Running alongside ITM 2026, HIGHTEX 2026 International Technical Textiles and Nonwovens Exhibition will bring together manufacturers, technology suppliers and investors from the technical textiles and nonwovens sectors. The exhibition will showcase developments in production technologies, raw materials, value-added products and sustainability-focused solutions for industries such as medical, hygiene, automotive, construction, agriculture and geotextiles.
As Türkiye’s specialized exhibition dedicated to technical textiles and nonwovens, HIGHTEX 2026 is expected to attract significant participation from companies seeking new market opportunities, investment prospects and international business partnerships.
