ITM 2026 Draws 48,257 Visitors from 105 Countries, Records Strong Business Activity

International textile machinery exhibition concludes in Istanbul with broad global participation, machinery sales and investment discussions
ITM 2026 International Textile Machinery Exhibition, organized by Tüyap Tüm Fuarcılık Yapım Inc. and Teknik Fairs Inc. in cooperation with the Textile Machinery and Accessories Industrialists Association (TEMSAD), was held at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul, Türkiye, from 9–13 June 2026.
The exhibition was held alongside HIGHTEX 2026 International Technical Textiles and Nonwovens Exhibition across 110,000 square metres and 11 halls.
More than 1,000 companies and company representatives from 59 countries participated in the event, which attracted 48,257 professional visitors from 105 countries. According to the organizers, 53% of attendees were domestic visitors, while 47% came from international markets.

International Participation Across Regions
The exhibition attracted visitors from Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas and the Middle East.
Organizers stated that Istanbul's strategic location, transportation accessibility and the absence of visa barriers contributed to the event's international participation. Investors and industry representatives who experienced visa-related challenges in attending exhibitions in Europe also participated in ITM 2026.
Professional visitors attended from countries including Rwanda, San Marino, Chile, Tuvalu, Swaziland and the Comoros, in addition to participants from a broad range of textile-producing markets.
Decision-Makers Among Visitors
According to the organizers, a significant share of visitors consisted of factory owners, senior executives, investors and purchasing decision-makers.
Participating companies reported direct meetings with businesses planning new investments, with many discussions progressing toward commercial projects and machinery acquisitions. Several exhibitors also noted that the exhibition attracted a high proportion of investment-focused visitors.
Business Meetings and Machinery Orders
ITM 2026 served as a platform for machinery suppliers and textile manufacturers to conduct business discussions across multiple textile production segments.
Industry delegations and company representatives from Syria, Egypt, India and Russia visited the exhibition, with machinery purchases reported during the event.
Technologies covering the complete textile production chain—including spinning, weaving, knitting, finishing, garment manufacturing, denim production and digital printing—were presented to visitors.
According to the organizers, machinery sales valued at billions of euros were concluded during the exhibition.

The exhibition also featured technology launches and live machine demonstrations by international textile machinery manufacturers, providing visitors with opportunities to evaluate production technologies focused on efficiency, cost reduction and sustainable manufacturing.
Preparations Begin for ITM 2028
Following the conclusion of ITM 2026, organizers reported early interest in the next edition of the exhibition.
According to the organizers, several participating companies submitted space requests for ITM 2028, which is scheduled to take place from June 13–17, 2028, with pre-reservations beginning during the 2026 exhibition.
