ITAMMA Triumphs at 8th FMC Awards for Responsible BMOs

We are proud to announce that ITAMMA has been honored with the prestigious "8th FMC Award for Responsible BMOs" for its significant contributions to promoting social issues in the Textiles & Apparel sector.
The award was received by Mr. N. D. Mhatre, Director General (Technical), ITAMMA, on February 17, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The award was presented by:
- Ms. Prajakta L. Verma, IAS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India
- Ms. Roop Rashi Mahapatra, (IA&AS), Textile Commissioner, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India
- Mr. Mukesh Gulati, Executive Director, Foundation for MSME Clusters
- Mr. Rakesh Mehra, Chairman, CITI
- Ms. Chandrima Chatterjee, Secretary General, CITI
This year, 135 applications were carefully reviewed under various categories, with 16 organizations being shortlisted for awards.
This recognition highlights ITAMMA’s commitment to driving social responsibility and sustainable growth within the textiles and apparel industry.
