ITAMMA Director General (Tech) N.D. Mhatre Received International Excellence Recognition from Global Research and Foundation USA

Industry veteran honoured with award, medal and Certificate of International Excellence at Hubli ceremony

N.D. Mhatre, Director General (Tech) of ITAMMA, has been honoured with the "Certificate of International Excellence," along with an Award and a Medal, by The Global Research and Foundation USA. The award was presented during a ceremony held on 30th May 2026 at The Denissons Hotel, Hubli, Karnataka.

Mr. N.D. Mhatre has been associated with ITAMMA, one of India's leading industry bodies representing the textile machinery and accessories sector. The recognition acknowledges his contributions at the international level and his continued involvement in the advancement of the textile machinery industry.

Commenting on the recognition, Mr. N.D. Mhatre stated:

" I feel deeply proud and honoured to be recognized and accommodated by ITAMMA within one of its wings as the Association continues to soar to greater heights. My gratitude goes to the founders, architects, and engineers of this institution - the Trustees, Office Bearers, and Managing Committee members - who have built ITAMMA on a strong foundation capable of withstanding every challenge and fluctuation the textile industry has faced since its establishment in 1943.

I also extend my heartfelt thanks to my mother, Mrs. Leela Mhatre, for instilling in me the spirit of service to others; to my spiritual Guru, Param Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj, for his constant blessings throughout my journey; and to my life partner, Ms. Yamini, for her unwavering support and encouragement to serve both industry and society.

Receiving this prestigious award from the Global Research and Foundation, USA, in recognition of my contributions at the international level has inspired me to work with renewed vigour and enthusiasm in the years ahead. This recognition is as a reflection of the growing strength of India’s textile machinery industry.

My contribution will always be in advancing India’s textile machinery and accessories sector, a critical pillar supporting efficiency, innovation and competitiveness across the textile value chain.

The sector is playing an increasingly important role in enabling automation, advanced manufacturing and sustainable production. Thus, I see this as a responsibility to contribute meaningfully toward building a future-ready textile ecosystem in India.

I dedicate this award to my wife, Yamini, acknowledging her unwavering support despite health challenges. "
