INVISTA Announces Plans For Asia Innovation Center At The Shanghai

INVISTA Nylon Chemicals (China) Co. announced plans to open its new Asia Innovation Center in Shanghai today, with an inaugural event at Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP). The initiative is the company's next step in expanding the nylon 6,6 value chain in China, and it will allow INVISTA to drive innovation to better fulfil client demands throughout the region. The new Invista lab will be outfitted with cutting-edge polymer research and development equipment required for polymer application development as well as customer assistance for product trials.

INVISTA has announced plans to open the Asia Innovation Center in Shanghai, China, which is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2021. INVISTA is likely to overtake China as the world's top nylon consumer, as China's demand for high-quality nylon products rises. InvisTA will continue to engage stakeholders as plans for the Asian Innovation Center progress, and the lab is expected to open in 2021.
