Intex Bangladesh 2026 to Return to Dhaka with Focus on Global Textile Sourcing and Sustainability

International exhibitors, textile councils, and sourcing platforms to participate in three-day event at ICCB

Intex Bangladesh 2026, part of the Intex South Asia textile sourcing series, will take place from 18-19-20 June 2026 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka. The exhibition will feature wider international participation and a focus on sustainable and innovative sourcing solutions for the textile and apparel sector.

Over the past 11 years, the Intex South Asia series has completed 17 editions across Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and India. The event serves as a platform connecting global textile suppliers with Bangladesh’s apparel and textile manufacturing industry.

The 2026 edition is expected to host exhibitors and industry participants from India, China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, the United Kingdom, Germany, South Korea, Indonesia, and Pakistan. The exhibition aims to support sourcing partnerships and strengthen Bangladesh’s role in global apparel production.

More than 100 Indian companies are scheduled to participate with support from textile export promotion councils including The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL), Powerloom Development & Export Promotion Council (PDEXCIL), Manmade & Technical Textiles Export Promotion Council (MATEXIL), and Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO). Participating companies will present fibres, yarns, fabrics, and value-added textile products.

A dedicated pavilion named ‘InDyChem’ will also be introduced during the exhibition. Organised in collaboration with the Basic Chemicals, Cosmetics & Dyes Export Promotion Council (CHEMEXCIL), the pavilion will focus on dyes, chemicals, and finishing technologies. It will feature sustainable and high-performance chemical solutions aimed at improving efficiency and supporting responsible manufacturing practices.

The three-day exhibition will also include business-to-business matchmaking sessions, business forums, and participation from overseas delegations to support networking and commercial engagement. The venue will feature four halls dedicated to international textile pavilions, India’s textile council pavilions, the China pavilion, and premium fibres and yarns.

Industry bodies and chambers supporting the event include the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA), Bangladesh-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BGCCI), U.S.-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (USBCCI), Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI), and Tirupur Exporters' Association (TEA), among others.
