Première Vision will make its debut in Montréal, Canada, on April 22 and 23, uniting a vibrant mix of fashion professionals and creatives in one of North America’s most business-friendly cities.

The event is being organized with support from mmode, marking Première Vision’s first appearance in Canada and its second in North America. The goal is to offer new business avenues for global textile and leather professionals, especially in a rapidly shifting economic landscape.

Florence Rousson, Chairwoman of Première Vision’s Executive Board, stated:
“This Montréal edition affirms our commitment to creating an international growth platform for the textile sector. Amid global instability, the show offers a chance to connect with emerging market opportunities.”

Valérie Plante, Mayor of Montréal, added:
“As a UNESCO City of Design, Montréal boasts a thriving fashion ecosystem. Première Vision Montréal highlights our city’s creativity and offers key growth and networking opportunities for fashion professionals.”

A Global Showcase of Textile Excellence
Première Vision Montréal will highlight Canada’s central role in the global fashion economy. The country contributes CAD 7.9 billion to Québec’s GDP through its fashion and apparel sector, employing 77,500 people. Exhibitors from Canada (20%), South Korea, Portugal, China, France, Türkiye, the U.S., Italy, and Spain will participate, covering six categories: fabric, design, accessories, leather/fur, manufacturing, and smart creation. The event promises a comprehensive view of textile innovation, craftsmanship, and sustainability.

Exclusive Experiences and Creative Dialogues
To elevate the visitor experience, Première Vision Montréal will feature a trend and color forecast installation for Spring-Summer 2026. A cocktail networking event will encourage collaboration and conversation among designers, business leaders, and institutional representatives.

A unique program titled “One Day, One Chef, One Designer: Celebrating Creativity” will explore creativity across disciplines. Day one speakers include Debbie Zakaib, Ifigenia Hill, and Patrice Demers, followed by Catherine Lecuyer, Markantoine Lynch-Boisvert, and Dario Bivona on day two.

These sessions aim to spark cross-sector dialogue and provide fresh insight into the convergence of culinary and fashion artistry, highlighting Montréal’s reputation as a cultural and creative powerhouse.

This landmark edition of Première Vision Montréal is set to amplify Canada’s influence on the global fashion stage, offering new perspectives, networking, and inspiration to fashion professionals from around the world.
