The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) successfully organized the ‘Surat Startup Summit – 2025’ and ‘Smart Education Expo – 2025’ from April 11 to 13 at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Sarsana. The dual event attracted an impressive turnout of over 8,400 visitors during the three-day exhibition.
SGCCI President Vijay Mewawala highlighted that the Smart Education Expo provided students and parents with extensive insights into universities and educational institutions across Surat, Gujarat, and the rest of India. The expo also featured comprehensive information on career-oriented programs from international universities. Experts discussed progressive topics such as modern teaching methodologies and digital learning platforms.
The Surat Startup Summit included engaging panel discussions, pitch sessions, and live product demonstrations. Budding entrepreneurs from Surat had the opportunity to be mentored by participants from the Shark Tank India series. Additionally, AI specialists and AI-based startups demonstrated innovative applications of artificial intelligence in business and technology, showcasing futuristic, AI-first approaches.
