With a rich legacy spanning over 137 years, the Textile Department at VJTI is renowned for its excellence in textile education and research. VASTRA, born from the collective dreams of Textile deparment students in 2003, emerged with a vision to ignite technical progress and foster innovation. After a four-year hiatus, during which the legacy set by our esteemed alumni simmered in anticipation, VASTRA now resurfaces, adorned with fresh ideas and renewed vigor. Our canvas awaits new strokes of brilliance, our tapestry yearns for threads of ingenuity, and our stage beckons the spotlight of innovation.
