  • Sitaram Spinners Pvt Limited had a modest beginning in 2008. By describing the craft of making yarn and fiber, the company’s founding chairman expressed his desire to create a difference in the spinning sector.
  • They have a cutting-edge production facility that runs on solar energy and employs talented yarn crafters. We are committed to providing a quality range of cotton yarns and top-selling commercial yarns that have been approved by the Indian government and are trusted by the global textile industry.
  • Our Vision: Become the global leader in Smart Textiles, providing value to all stakeholders.
  • Our Mission: Sitaram Spinners aspires to be the next great thing in the art of yarn making, becoming the unrivalled number one yarn maker and supplier in India and worldwide. We are already the acknowledged “EXPORT HOUSE,” exporting quality yarn to over 35 countries, and we hope to increase income and brand expansion in the next five years.
  • The yarn is made up of many strands of material twisted together. Each strand is made up of fibers, all of which are shorter than the yarn they make. These short strands are spun into longer filaments to create yarn.
  • Preparing the Fibers
Fibers are shipped in bales that are opened by machine after washing and sorting. Blending might occur during lap formation or carding.
  • Carding the fibers.
The carding machine is equipped with hundreds of thin wires that separate the fibers and create a ropelike strand of parallel fibers.
  • Combing the fibers
For smoother yarn, a comb-like device distributes fibers in parallel, with short fibers falling out of the strands.
  • Drawing out fibers
Pre-twisting Following combing, the fiber mass is referred to as ‘Silver’. A series of rollers rolling at different speeds lengthen the sliver into a single uniform strand, which is then twisted slightly and fed into big cans.
  • Twisting the fibers
Roving involves feeding the sliver through a machine known as a roving frame, where the fiber strands are further lengthened and twisted. These threads are known as roving.
  • Spin the fibers.
Ring Spinning involves feeding the roving from the spool via rollers. The traveller freely rotates around the stationary ring at 4,000 to 12,000 revolutions per minute. The spindle rotates the bobbin at a consistent speed. The yarn is twisted and wound in one action by spinning the bobbin and moving the traveler.
  • Quality Control
The whole Automation Process has made obtaining quality easier, with electronics managing operations, temperatures, speeds, twists, and efficiency. In our lab, we use standardized processes to ensure quality.

The TVC media team got the chance to speak with Soumyadip Bose, Yarn Sale & Marketing of Sitram Spinners Pvt Ltd. which is found in Kolkata. We get the chance to learn more about his adventure. He responded to every question in detail, making us understand it in depth, such as about their business, the products they produce, such as yarn and fabric.

  • Yarn and cotton testing is an important technique for determining the properties of yarn materials such as strength, modularity, rigidity, and maturity. The most recent AFIS and HVI devices are utilized to assess these characteristics.
  • The yarn is the raw material used in fabric production, thus it must be inspected from beginning to end to ensure proper yarn and wear. The standard temperature for textile testing is 20+-2 degrees Celsius and 65+-2% Rh, which necessitate consistent, homogenous conditions.
  • Twisting is required to hold individual fibers together, and increasing twist improves yarn strength. Spinners must maintain control over average and count fluctuations, which are determined by sample number and count checking length. During standard testing, breaking load and yarn extension are frequently recorded to assess yarn quality, and the moisture content of the yarn also affects test findings.

Tell us about yourself and your company?

I’m a Market Sales Manager. We have a comprehensive export marketing strategy for Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and West Bengal. We manufacture cotton yarn and polyester yarn, both of which are preferred to be in the postponed category of stretch yarn. It is used for denim and other shirt materials. Stretch is employed wherever there is free space. There is a spun and post-spun yarn category. So we are manufacturing and selling.

Do you think this event should happen every year?

If you mention Yarnx, it should happen every year, but the timing is not ideal because we previously had an exhibition in Geo in September and another in February of this year. As a result, the gap is quite small. So, I believe that guys should focus on the time because Jio’s book collapse was emotional. We do not expect a large food fall this time due to the close gap. If it is, it might be completed around September of that year. It should be better.

What vision do you have in mind for future of a company?

we exhibit here every year to get some new client.  Mostly here customers from Tarapur comes customers from Surat.  I think the manager should be more and more interested in users through a bias. from Bombay Bail, Surat, Uttar Pradesh, Kichar Paranjee and also and East Bengal that we are reaching.  So that more and more customers can come and see what we are doing every year. Finally we want to be associated with new clients.

Last question, can you discuss current trend or innovation in yarn?

Currently, yarn innovation is primarily based on Recycling is one of the trends that are now popular. We have all of the recycling market certifications for the necessity of sustainability, and some work is being done on a new type of reproducing the original deco. Every accreditation we hold is in accordance with current laws and practices.
