According to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, an investment of Rs 30,000 crore has been finalised in the state over the past nine months, creating new employment opportunities for thousands of young people. He attributed this to the pro-industry environment and policies that make doing business easy.
The CM stated this while presenting appointment letters to newly hired candidates at Markfed and introducing new products at the municipal bhawan here on Friday. “Big houses such as Tata Steel, Verbio, Freudenberg, and Sanathan Textiles have entered into agreements to invest by reposing faith in our industrial policies, which will provide jobs to our youth.”
Mann stated in reference to the recent gatherings with manufacturers in Hyderabad that the business people involved in food processing and agriculture have demonstrated Punjab is receiving a lot of investment interest, which will help the state’s industrial sector even more. He claimed that where there is a will, there is a way since businessmen no longer need to go through a complicated and corrupt process in order to invest in the government. Since we have eradicated corruption, given the sector a reliable source of power, and created a welcoming climate, Mann claimed that industrialists are now flocking to Punjab.
The Chief Minister slammed the opposition for raising concerns about the allegedly deteriorating mood in Punjab and claimed that the opposition party leaders were purposefully disparaging him in Parliament or at public events because his administration had revealed the plans of the state was pillaged by past administrations.
Mann claimed he was being challenged because he was different from his predecessors, who had pillaged the state’s resources. He said that he had dedicated his life to promoting the prosperity of Punjab and its residents. According to the CM, gangsterism, the sand mafia, the transport mafia, and other organisations were supported by previous governments. However, he claimed that his administration has destroyed these mafias and ushered in a new era of politics to give the average citizen an open and trustworthy government. According to Mann, the goal of his administration is to ensure the prosperity of the state and its citizens.
The state government had provided appointment letters of government in order to keep its promise to “provide work to qualified children.” According to the Chief Minister, jobs were given to 21,404 adolescents in nine months, and more were being hired. He said that the merit-based hiring process had been used throughout. He also mentioned another accomplishment: the distribution of appointment letters to more than 3,000 master cadre kids on New Year’s Day, which would boost our educational system even more.
