Egis, a global leader in infrastructure and engineering consultancy, has announced key leadership changes in South Asia and the Middle East as part of its broader transformation plan, Impact the Future. The company has appointed Frederico Justus as the new CEO for the Middle East and South Asia regions.

This move aligns with Egis’ goal to rank among the world’s top 10 engineering firms and double its revenue by 2029. Group CEO Laurent Germain highlighted Egis’ readiness to support global demand for smart, sustainable infrastructure and emphasized the company’s intent to be a transformative force in rapidly developing regions.

Germain also commended former CEO Alaa Abusiam for his successful five-year tenure, noting that Abusiam will now lead operations in the Americas. He expressed confidence in Justus’ ability to elevate Egis’ regional impact, citing his strategic vision, global outlook, and operational excellence.

With over 25 years of experience across four continents, including a decade in the Middle East, Justus brings a strong background in digital transformation, project delivery, and low-carbon initiatives. He previously served as Egis’ COO for the same regions and has held senior roles across engineering, technology, and energy sectors. His track record includes spearheading billion-dollar ventures and implementing AI-driven urban infrastructure solutions.
