Intertextile Shanghai to Spotlight Sustainable Home Textiles

Scheduled for August 20–22, 2025, at Shanghai’s National Exhibition and Convention Center, the upcoming Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition promises to deliver a diverse display of the latest developments across home textiles. Attendees will explore innovations in bedding, upholstery, curtains, rugs, and more, with a focus on sustainable materials and smart technologies reflecting changing consumer demands.
China’s home textile sector is embracing intelligent manufacturing, offering products crafted from eco-friendly materials like bamboo and wool, alongside smart features like temperature control and antibacterial finishes. Customization and high-end design are gaining traction, particularly in urban markets.
The fair’s layout includes multiple thematic halls:
- H5.1 (Brand Fabrics Hall) – luxury decor and textiles
- H6.1 (International Hall) – overseas home brands
- H5.2 (Trendy Fabrics) – curtains and decorative fabrics
- H6.2 (Furniture Fabrics) – innovative upholstery solutions
Exhibitors like Belgium’s Love Home Fabrics, Spain’s Rioma S.L., Vietnam’s Everpia, Australia’s Jaspa Herington, Turkey’s Dersiyon Tekstil, and China’s Dragonstone Textile will highlight sustainability and performance.
A Green Product Display Zone will emphasize circularity and biodegradable options throughout the textile value chain—from raw materials to recycled finishes.
This edition of Intertextile is co-organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the China Home Textile Association (CHTA), and the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT—aiming to foster sustainable innovation and global collaboration.
