Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles Spring 2026 to Feature Smart and Sustainable Home Textile Solutions

The home textiles sector will convene in Shanghai next week as Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition 2026 prepares to open from 11 – 13 March at the National Exhibition and Convention Center. The fair will feature more than 360 exhibitors representing six countries and regions and will present a wide range of home textile products, including bedding, towelling, carpets, textile technologies, and textile design solutions.
The event takes place amid developments in China’s consumer market and increased interest in the “sleep economy.” Exhibitors will present eco-conscious materials, functional home textile products, and solutions focused on sleep-related comfort and wellness.
Visitors will be able to explore home textile sourcing options across multiple segments. Exhibitors include O Jia He Home Textile (booth number 5.2G06), which will present carpets made from recyclable and degradable materials with subdued patterns. Tourgo (5.2E17) will display bedding products including pillow cores produced from 100% naturally degradable materials. Other participants include Foshan Recoton Textile (5.2G30), Nantong Textile Innovative Plaza (5.2E38), Suzhou Synteks (5.2J02), and Wujiang City Yunjie Textiles (5.2E09). In addition, Jiangsu Rayfull Textile Technology (5.2E48) and Nibo Sixiang Home Technology (5.2G42) will participate in the fair for the first time.
The Designer Pavilion will present design-focused home textile innovations. Haoyun Home Decoration (Nantong) (5.2E86) will showcase original hand-drawn textile printing patterns developed by a design team from the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts. Nantong Banxia (North Star) (5.2C83) will display home textile research and development that combines ergonomics, material science, and aesthetic design. Nantong Xinganxian Home Textile Design (5.2B81) will highlight sleep-related textile technology and functional duvet and pillow cores developed using new materials and structural designs.
The fair will also introduce the Uzbekistan Pavilion (5.2A53), organised by the Agency for the Development of Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan. Approximately 10 companies will participate, presenting bedding and bath products as well as cotton yarn. The pavilion will also highlight traditional craftsmanship, sustainability practices, and Central Asian-inspired designs. In addition to home textiles, it will reflect Uzbekistan’s capabilities in apparel fabrics and garment production, linked to the concurrently held Intertextile Apparel event.
The exhibition continues to attract international and domestic buyers across retail and supply chains. Participating companies include Adairs, Lidl & Kaufland, MUJI, Otto Group, Sainsbury's, Tesco, The Home Depot, and Williams-Sonoma. The platform enables buyers and exhibitors to exchange information related to product development and market trends, including sustainability and sleep-related consumer demand.
Alongside the exhibition, the fair will host a fringe programme featuring forums, seminars, and panel discussions organised around four themes: Palette, NextGen, Go-Green, and Connector. These sessions will address developments in sleep-related products and other drivers influencing the home textile market.
The Sleeping Aid Summit 2026 will gather industry representatives, researchers, and specialists to discuss the relationship between sleep health and home textiles. The summit will also introduce the 2026 Sleep Aid Report and feature the Sleep Aid Display Area (5.2L96), where companies will present products related to sleep-focused home textile design.
Another session titled Colour SenseAbility: Transforming a Home into a Personal Haven in 2027 Through Multi-Sensorial Design* will be led by Pantone Color Institute Vice President Ms Laurie Pressman. The discussion will explore home design concepts that combine colour, scent, tactility, sound, and light, drawing inspiration from nature and personal wellbeing.
