International Print Day will return on October 21, 2026, for its 13th annual celebration, bringing together printing professionals and print enthusiasts worldwide. Participants are invited to share their work, ideas and applications across social media using the hashtags #IPD26 and #PrintWorks.
This year’s theme, #PrintWorks, highlights the role of creativity, technology and skilled professionals in producing effective communication across marketing campaigns, packaging, books, labels, signage and other print applications.
Global Print Community to Share Ideas and Innovation
International Print Day encourages businesses and individuals to showcase projects that demonstrate the capabilities and effectiveness of print media. Participants can share how print contributes to creative and business outcomes, using #IPD26 and #PrintWorks to join the global conversation.
Since 2014, International Print Day has generated more than 200 million impressions across social media.
“Thirteen years later, it is still incredible to see how International Print Day is celebrated around the world and how people make it their own,” said Deborah Corn, founder of International Print Day and Intergalactic Ambassador to The Printerverse at Print Media Centr. “This year, the Democratic Republic of the Congo is celebrating International Print Day for the third time, with three events bringing together printers, partners, and students. International Print Day provides a backdrop for everyone to celebrate and share printspiration.”
Democratic Republic of the Congo Plans Three Events
The Democratic Republic of the Congo will mark International Print Day for the third time with three activities for printing professionals, partners and students.
The programme includes:
- October 21: An International Print Day DRC panel.
- October 23: A student visit to Mediaspaul Printing House to learn about printing and its role in education.
- October 31: A gala for the DRC printing community at the Great Hall of the Kinshasa Botanical Garden.
“For the printing community of the Democratic Republic of Congo, International Print Day is an opportunity to recognize the profession of the printer and highlight the contribution of printing to national and international life. It gives us a platform to advocate for our sector, assert ourselves as printing professionals, and celebrate the important role print plays in literacy, education, and society,” said Michaël G. Mpa, CEO of Galaxie Print and IPD-DRC Ambassador.
