InsideOut by C.L.A.S.S. Highlights Transparency at Milan Design Week and EIIS Summit

InsideOut by C.L.A.S.S. is a platform aimed at making the values behind fashion and design products more visible to consumers, with an emphasis on transparency, responsibility, and measurable quality. The project brings together companies, institutions, and professionals to support changes in the fashion system.

Central to the initiative is a Decalogue outlining 10 values: Ethics, Social Initiatives, Traceability and Transparency, Environment, Health, Circular Economy, Design, Ingredients, Production, and Dyeing and Finishing. These parameters are intended to provide clarity across the product lifecycle, from raw materials to retail.

At Milan Design Week, InsideOut will be featured within the Oasi Life Experience format, organised by Idea Integrale and DDN Hub and promoted by Regione Lombardia. The event will take place at the Greenhouse Michelangelo in Piazza Città di Lombardia from April 20 to 26, between 10 am and 11 pm.

On April 24, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, a talk titled “New Generations of Values. InsideOut, between visible and invisible values, the wardrobe we wear and live in” will be held. The session will be moderated by Chiara Puglisi and will include participation from Giusy Bettoni, Martina Rogato, Giovanni Maria Conti, Isabella Goldmann, and Marco Martinuzzi.

The initiative will also be presented on May 8 at the European Innovation for Sustainability Summit, organised by EIIS, at CTE Roma – Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti. During the event, the Values Decalogue will be introduced through a panel discussion, followed by a workshop titled “Rethinking Fashion. InsideOut Values Decalogue: the Next Generation”. The workshop will include roundtable discussions and co-creation sessions, with outcomes scheduled to be presented on May 9 on the main stage.

InsideOut by C.L.A.S.S. was launched on November 25, 2025, at BASE Milano under the campaign “Trust is the new luxury”. Since then, it has engaged with organisations including Camera Showroom Milano and participated in the 65th edition of FILO.

“InsideOut grows thanks to valuable synergies and a shared vision. Our goal is to raise awareness across the entire fashion and design system towards more conscious and responsible choices that lead to understanding the ‘journey’ of the wardrobe we wear and live in,” says Giusy Bettoni, CEO and Founder of C.L.A.S.S.

“Hosting InsideOut within our Summit strengthens a shared vision based on commitment, awareness, and concrete action,” states EIIS.

The initiative includes ambassadors from sectors such as industry, education, and sustainability, including Diana de Marsanich, Ermete Realacci, Mariasole Bianco, Mario Bonaccorso, and others.

The upcoming events are held under the patronage of organisations including Regione Lombardia, AICTC, The British Chamber of Commerce for Italy, Camera Buyer Italia, Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, CSM Camera Showroom Milano, CID, CNA Lombardia, Confartigianato Imprese Moda, Confindustria Moda, Filo, Fondazione Symbola, Milano Unica, Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda ETS, rén collective, Unic – Concerie Italiane, and Lineapelle.
