Tracxn, a prominent market intelligence platform, released its India Tech Semi-Annual Funding Report for H1 2025, offering a comprehensive overview of funding dynamics, sector-wise trends, and ecosystem shifts in the Indian tech startup landscape.

In H1 2025, Indian tech startups secured $4.8 billion, reflecting a 25% decline compared to H1 2024 and a 19% drop from H2 2024. Despite this dip, India climbed to the third position globally in terms of startup funding, surpassing Germany and Israel, and following only the United States and the United Kingdom.

Neha Singh, Co-Founder of Tracxn, commented:

“While funding volumes have dipped year-on-year, India’s tech ecosystem continues to show resilience and maturity. Investor confidence in transportation, retail, and enterprise tech indicates strong faith in solutions addressing structural challenges. The ecosystem’s strength is also visible through landmark acquisitions and quality IPOs.”
