India ITME Society to Host Textile Horizons 2026 Conference in Greater Noida

Two-day international conference to focus on technology, efficiency, and sustainability alongside India ITME 2026

India ITME Society has introduced Textile Horizons 2026, a two-day international conference set to take place on December 5–6, 2026, at India Exposition Mart Ltd (IEML), Greater Noida, alongside India ITME 2026.

The conference will run in parallel with India ITME 2026, scheduled from December 4–9, and is positioned as a knowledge-focused platform within the larger exhibition ecosystem. While the exhibition will centre on machinery displays and business transactions, the conference will focus on industry developments, technological progress, and sustainability-related challenges in textile manufacturing.

Fibre2Fashion has been announced as the Knowledge Partner for Textile Horizons 2026.

The launch of the conference comes at a time when India’s textile sector is experiencing structural changes influenced by investment inflows, policy measures, and evolving environmental standards. These include the ₹44,450 crore PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) scheme and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) programme, both aimed at supporting integrated manufacturing and man-made fibre growth. Sustainability requirements such as zero liquid discharge (ZLD) compliance and global sourcing standards are also shaping operational practices across the sector.

The conference will be organised around two main themes: Technology & Efficiency and Sustainability & Circular Economy. Topics scheduled for discussion include smart manufacturing, AI and IoT integration, robotics in textile production, energy optimisation, circular design approaches, low-impact processing, and compliance frameworks. The programme will include keynote sessions, panel discussions, technology presentations, and case studies.

“The conference strengthens the overall value proposition of India ITME by creating a structured forum for knowledge exchange alongside the exhibition,” said Dr. Seema Srivastava, Executive Director, India ITME Society. “It aligns with our objective of supporting industry modernisation and fostering meaningful engagement across the textile value chain.”

Participants expected at the event include textile and garment manufacturers, machinery and technology providers, fibre and yarn producers, brands and retailers, research organisations, policymakers, sustainability experts, and investors. The conference is designed for senior decision-makers such as owners, managing directors, plant heads, and sourcing leaders.

The speaker lineup will feature industry leaders, technology experts, sustainability professionals, brand sourcing representatives, and senior policymakers from across the global textile sector.

Textile Horizons 2026 will also be held alongside India ITME programmes including the CEO Conclave, India ITME Technical Awards, networking events, and B2B meetings on the exhibition floor.

Entry to the conference will be free upon visitor registration for India ITME 2026. Sponsorship opportunities across multiple categories are currently open.
