INDA Members to Receive Complimentary Show Floor Passes

INDA has announced that members can receive an IDEA®27 show floor pass at no charge in 2027. The initiative is intended to help members build business relationships, source solutions, identify opportunities and maintain industry connections amid economic pressures and market uncertainty.

Ben Muller, executive director of INDA, said, “IDEA is where the global nonwovens industry comes together to discover what’s next, strengthen business relationships and turn new ideas into opportunities. IDEA27 will bring together the people, technologies and expertise that drive our industry forward, and we look forward to welcoming the global nonwovens community to Kansas City.”

RISE Technology Conference to Run Alongside IDEA27

For the first time since its inception, the RISE® Technology Conference will take place alongside IDEA27. The combination will expand the event’s technical programme and give participants access to emerging technologies and innovations with potential applications in future products and processes.

The joint programme will connect technical content with commercial technologies, market developments and business opportunities across the exhibition floor.

The restructured RISE programme will cover innovation across fundamental and corporate research, upstream innovation and performance-driven applications. Its content is designed to be relevant across markets and provide technical insights for professionals throughout the global nonwovens value chain.

Details of the RISE conference programme are expected to be announced in the coming months on the IDEA27 website.

Professional Development Courses Scheduled for March 22

IDEA27’s professional development programme will begin on Monday, March 22, 2027, with six courses focused on technical knowledge and key nonwoven market applications.

Planned offerings include an introduction to nonwoven manufacturing and specialised courses covering the technical design and performance of baby and adult care absorbent systems, wet wipes and period products. A one-day filter media course will also feature technical content.

Additional course information is expected to be announced this fall on the IDEA website.

INDA and Nonwovens Industry magazine will again collaborate to present the IDEA Achievement Awards, recognising innovations, technical advancements and achievements across the nonwovens and engineered materials industry.
