INDA and NWI Reveal 2026 Short Course Portfolio to Strengthen Nonwovens Workforce

INDA and NWI have unveiled their latest professional development schedule for 2026, offering technical, hands-on, and market-focused training designed to meet the growing needs of the global nonwovens industry.

INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, together with The Nonwovens Institute (NWI) at North Carolina State University, has unveiled its full slate of professional development courses for 2026. The upcoming programme is designed to equip emerging and established professionals with advanced technical knowledge and practical expertise in a sector undergoing rapid technological and market evolution.

Spanning the complete nonwovens value chain—from feedstock fundamentals to process engineering and end-product performance—the curriculum blends classroom instruction with hands-on training in NWI’s world-class production and analytical laboratories housed on NC State’s Centennial Campus.

Led by industry veterans and complemented by expert guest lecturers, the INDA/NWI training ecosystem continues to serve as one of the industry’s most respected gateways for skill-building, innovation development, and cross-functional industry learning.

  • Elementary Nonwovens: February 10–11, June 16–17, October 6–7
  • Intermediate Nonwovens: March 3–6, July 21–24, October 13–16
  • Nonwoven Product Development & Innovation: March 24–27
  • Meltblown Technology: April 28–30
  • Fiber and Filament Extrusion Fundamentals: June 2–4
  • Carded Nonwoven Technology: August 11–13
  • Spunbond Technology: September 22–24
