The government released a Foreign Trade programme Statement on March 31, 2015, along with the Foreign Trade Policy 2015–20, outlining the vision, aims, and objectives that guided the programme. It described the market and product strategy as well as other necessary actions for export promotion and improvement of the overall trade ecosystem against the backdrop of global trade changes. In December 2017, a similar paper was made public alongside the policy’s mid-term assessment. This year, no such document has yet been made public.
