PM Modi Applaudes Feat Of Indian Exports Crossing $750-billion Mark

He was responding to Piyush Goyal, the minister of commerce and industry, who had stated that the country’s exports of goods and services are anticipated to surpass USD 760 billion in the current fiscal year, which ends on March 31.

“India has crossed in its 75th year of independence, as we speak today, USD 750 billion of exports,” he said, adding that the financial year is expected to end with a total exports (merchandise and services) of about USD 760 billion. I can say with great pride, happiness, and thanks to all your efforts.

“Congratulations to the people of India for this success,” PM Modi tweeted. This is the mindset that would eventually make India Aatmanirbhar.
