SGCCI to organize ‘Yarn Expo – 2023’ in the 1st week of August

— More than 80 exhibitors from across the country are participating in the exhibition

— Polyester, Nylon, Viscose, Cotton and Ketonic Yarns along with Special Variety like Antibacterial, Imitate Silk, Granite and Recycled Yarns etc. will be there on display

Surat : 

The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry(SGCCI) and The Southern Gujarat Chamber Trade and Industries Development Center will organize three days ‘Yarn Expo – 2023’ as the second exhibition of the year 2023-2024. The event will be held at Surat International Exhibition and Convention Center, Sarsana on 4th, 5th and 6th August, 2023.

SGCCI President Mr. Ramesh Vaghasia said, this exhibition is being organized with the intention to accelerate the development of the textile industry of Surat and the industrialists will get the knowledge of the latest technology of yarn production. The exhibition will be held in an area of approximately 1 lakh 16 thousand square feet and more than 80 exhibitors will participate in the same. Besides Surat, exhibitors from Ahmedabad, Valsad, Silvassa, Meerut, Mumbai, Salem, Chennai, Coimbatore, Erode, Hooghly, Hyderabad and Secunderabad will participate in the three days exhibition.

This is the fifth edition of the Yarn Expo. Yarn producers from across the country will come on single platform and all types of yarn varieties such as polyester, nylon, viscose, cotton and ketonic and special variety of yarns like Antibacterial Yarns, Imitate Silk Yarns, Granite Yarns and Recycled Yarns etc. will be displayed.

Genuine buyers and visitors from various states and cities across the country like Erode, Ichchalkaranji, Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, Coimbatore, Haryana, Hyderabad, Panipat, Varanasi, Warangal, Ludhiana, Indore, Amravati, Bangalore etc will visit the exhibion. Weavers, knitters, industry leaders and entrepreneurs will also visit this exhibition. As the manufacturers and buyers of various yarns will gather on a single platform under one roof, business meets will also be held among them.

He further said, the exhibitors will display products such as cotton, polyester, wool, silk, linen, viscose, ramie and spandex etc. in this exhibition showing the changes and developments in natural and man made fabrics. Apart from this, various specialty fibers like elastic, metallic, embroidered, textured, slub, dope dyed spun, low torque and fancy blend will also be seen in the exhibition. Representatives of the business industry of South Gujarat will also be present in this exhibition. More than 20 thousand buyers and visitors are expected to visit the event.
