Even as preparations are being made for Ahmedabad’s bid to host the Olympic games in 2036, this will be the first time partnerships have been requested to help set up the projected Olympic village.
The upcoming VGGS is likely to be heavily promoted by the government around these ten industries.
The Gujarati government is anticipated to announce the beginning of a number of large-scale initiatives and the addition of plug-and-play amenities at smart industrial parks. However, besides showcasing the commercial and Sports, tourism, riverfront development, and entertainment will all play a significant role in the Vision 2024 Growth Strategy, according to a senior government official.
The state administration, which already has a solid manufacturing and industrial foundation, will highlight four economic corridors during the upcoming iteration of its premier investor’s meet.
These include the project’s influence zone for the Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train, the state’s location along the DMIC and DFC route, the Dholera SIR’s semiconductor and electronics industry cluster, and the growth of coastal economic zones or port cities.
Additionally, VGGS 2024 will place a strong emphasis on promoting initiatives inside the GIFT city complex, such as fintech hubs, special education zones for international universities, and startup and innovation parks.
