Italian textile machinery manufacturers are gearing up for a strong presence at Techtextil North America 2025, happening from May 6–8 in Atlanta, Georgia. Organized by ACIMIT in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency, a dedicated pavilion will host 21 Italian companies presenting cutting-edge textile technologies.
The Italian exhibitors include industry leaders such as Marzoli, Bianco, Reggiani Macchine, Flainox, and Monti Antonio, among others, who will demonstrate their latest innovations tailored to technical and industrial textiles.
The U.S. textile industry, valued at over $64 billion and employing more than 500,000 people, remains a major player in global manufacturing. With nearly $1 billion spent on textile machinery imports in 2024, the U.S. stands as the fourth-largest export market for Italian machinery, following China, Turkey, and India.
In 2024, Italian machinery exports to the U.S. totaled €112 million, maintaining stability despite economic uncertainties. “Despite a global slowdown, the increased participation of Italian firms at Techtextil NA 2025 shows renewed optimism in U.S. market opportunities,” noted Marco Salvadè, President of ACIMIT.
