Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics 2025: Key Highlights

The full spectrum of apparel textiles will be on display across seven halls of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Spring Edition. As one of the largest global gatherings for the textile industry, the flagship fair will take place from 11 – 13 March 2025, bringing together over 3,100 exhibitors showcasing innovations in fashion fabrics, accessories, functional fashion, sustainability, and digital transformation. These themes will also be reflected in the show’s extensive fringe programme.

Econogy Talks

A key highlight is a sustainability panel discussion, featuring speakers from Ecocert, Lenzing, Redress, and the Taiwan Textile Federation. The session, Circularity in the Global Textile Industry – Opportunities and Challenges, will explore how legislation is reshaping supply chains, production challenges, and opportunities for Asian manufacturers. Additional highlights include:

Supply Chain Traceability in the New Regulatory Landscape – Seminar by TextileGenesis, a Lectra company.
Econogy Tour – A guided tour of eco-focused exhibitors.

Technology & Solutions

A panel discussion, Shaping the Future of Sustainability Through Innovation, will feature industry leaders from Eastman, High Fashion, HKRITA, and TextileGenesis. Additionally, the International Textile Industry Digital Application Forum will provide insights into the sector’s digital transformation.

Design & Trends

The Intertextile Directions Trend Forum will be presented by Ms. Ornella Bignami, Owner and Art Director of ELEMENTI MODA, covering Colours, Fabrics, and Fashion Trends for Spring/Summer 2026.
Ms. Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute, will discuss Mind: Blending the Balanced and Bold for a Mind-Bending Vision for Spring/Summer 2026.
Ms. Bignami will also lead three guided tours of the Intertextile Directions Trend Forum, offering an interactive exploration of the S/S 2026 I-dentities theme.
Domestic trend forums will highlight Chinese trends across four categories: Denim (7.2), Fashion Focus (8.1), Sustainable Fashion (6.1), and Techno & Functions (6.2).
