Durak Tekstil continues its rise as a global brand by executing a robust export-focused growth strategy and strengthening its footprint in key markets. The company delivers sewing and embroidery thread solutions that meet efficiency, sustainability, and functionality standards, aligning its brand with innovation through ongoing R&D efforts.

As a major player in industrial thread manufacturing, Durak Tekstil is set to unveil its latest innovations for the global furniture and interior design sectors at Interzum 2025, taking place in Cologne, Germany from May 20–23, in Hall 10.1, Booth A024 B025. With a focus on expanding its reach and forming strategic alliances, Durak is introducing threads that cater to various applications with technological, sustainable, and high-performance features.

Yiğit Durak, Vice Chairman, highlighted the company’s unwavering commitment to export-led growth, recognizing Interzum as a key global platform. “We aim to increase brand visibility and boost sales in Europe while showcasing the functional benefits of our products,” he stated. Durak aims to solidify ties with stakeholders and broaden its global presence.

Serving diverse sectors including automotive, apparel, and outdoor products, Durak emphasized that the mattress industry accounts for 25% of its business, especially in quilting and furniture. Their innovative threads have become top picks for manufacturers in these sectors. The company plans to keep the mattress segment a priority, offering cutting-edge thread solutions to match evolving market trends.

Durak Tekstil’s R&D and Design teams are constantly innovating in collaboration with public bodies, academia, and industry. The company ensures all products meet international standards. Threads developed for global markets—like flame-resistant aramid threads and the insect-repelling Bug Safe thread—have gained strong traction, particularly in the US and Europe.

The brand plans to explore new partnerships at Interzum 2025, leveraging its inclusion in the Turquality Program. Recent expansions include new offices in Austria and Poland, boosting logistics efficiency in Europe, while a logistics base in the USA is set to serve a vast region. Plans are also underway to engage with African and Asian markets.

With a focus on technology, art, and sustainability, Durak Tekstil is elevating its brand image. Participation in Interzum will help build connections with manufacturers, universities, and media while targeting recognition through Interzum Innovation Awards. According to Yiğit Durak, their edge lies in surpassing expectations—through innovation, service excellence, swift problem-solving, and a solid corporate culture.
