PM MITRA Giant Textile Parks Will Expand the Textile Industry With Modern Infrastructure, Says Prime Minister Narendra Modi

PM MITRA major textile parks will be built in Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement on Friday. According to him, the parks will help the country’s textile industry grow in accordance with the 5F (Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign) vision.
According to the 5F (Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign) concept, PM MITRA giant textile parks would strengthen the textile industry. In a tweet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that PM MITRA mega textile parks would be built in Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, MP, and Uttar Pradesh.
He added, “The PM MITRA mega textile parks will offer cutting-edge infrastructure,” in another tweet.attracts billions of dollars in investment for the textile industry and generates millions of employment. It will serve as an excellent illustration of “Made in India” and “Make for the World.”
The programme intends to make the Prime Minister’s vision of creating an Aatmanirbhar Bharat a reality and to solidify India’s position as a major player in the world of textiles. The purpose of PM MITRA Parks is to assist India in reaching Sustainable Development Goal 9 of the UN, which is to “Construct resilient infrastructure, promote sustainable industry, and foster innovation”.
PM MITRA is motivated by the Hon. Prime Minister’s 5F vision. Farm to Fiber, Fiber to Factory, Factory to Fashion, and Fashion to Foreign are all included in the “5F” Formula. The textile industry’s economic growth will be aided by this holistic viewpoint. There are no rivalssimilar to India, this country boasts an entire textile ecosystem. India excels in each of the five Fs.
The plan is to create an integrated, expansive, and cutting-edge industrial infrastructure facility for the textile industry’s complete value chain. It will lower logistics expenses and raise Indian textiles’ level of competitiveness. The programme will assist India in luring investments, increasing employment creation, and solidifying its place in the world textile market. These parks are planned to be built in areas that are naturally strong for the textile industry and have the connections it needs to succeed.
