On April 18, 2023, the Advanced Textiles Association (ATA) released a freshly renovated website, providing users with a more engaging online experience. In addition to offering consumers a website with an easy-to-use interface, ATA has improved networking and resource responsiveness generally.
“As part of ATA’s strategic initiative to reach and give value to a greater audience, as well as a better connection for members to the resources they need, we are thrilled to debut the newly redesigned website. According to Steve Schiffman, president and CEO of ATA, the website is the most probable place where business professionals may initially connect with or communicate with the association.
Textiles.org, the ATA’s freshly revamped website, is a dynamic platform that offers the industryproviding a direct link to member programmes, peers, education, resource sourcing, and many other things. To offer the best user experience and give data privacy to all members/users, including more user-friendly account creation and membership administration, the site was designed on the most cutting-edge and secure web platform currently accessible.
After changing its name from Industrial Fabrics group International (IFAI) to ATA in order to better represent the markets it serves, the group rebranded last year.
Users’ Flow and Navigation
The creation of a more user-friendly navigation menu was one of the main objectives of the website overhaul. Members, stakeholders in the industry, and non-members all provided feedback that pointed out the need to enhance the site’s usability, information hierarchy, and organisational structure. Weachieved this by compiling the top eight ATA-related components into a global menu. The user has the choice to go deeply into something, and there is easy access to return to the main pages. The following collection of pertinent links and pages were also added to the global navigation, but they are not as prominent. Last but not least, links to practically all of the pages we have produced are included in the website’s footer section.
Bright New Style
The website adheres to the ATA’s new brand guidelines, with its bold colours, wide headings, and simple designs. In some instances, a significant usage of icons along with titles and subtitles provides a straightforward visual aid. The purpose of strategically positioned tabs, dropdowns, and buttons is to: goals ranging from easy navigation to organisational requirements. The new website is meant to be both aesthetically pleasing and simple to use.
