DyStar, a speciality chemical firm with a history in product research and invention spanning more than a century, announces the intention to restructure its Ludwigshafen site in Germany.

The business makes the strategic choice in response to shifting market dynamics and shifting business conditions.

“This is an important strategic move for DyStar,” said Xu Yalin, managing director and president of DyStar Group. We will concentrate on expanding important emerging markets, which have been changing for more than ten years. As a result of rising energy prices and inflation, DyStar is committed to enhancing cost effectiveness and fostering sustainable productivity while delivering the best possible innovative products to assist the global supply chain.

DyStar Group’s Chief Commercial Officer, Eric Hopmann”This facility’s restructuring will be done in stages,” it was stated. DyStar will diversify its production operations outside of Europe and begin by reducing its workforce as a result. Customers of DyStar may be further assured of an uninterrupted supply, so their production shouldn’t be impacted because we will closely cooperate to satisfy their unique requirements.

The facility has played a crucial role in DyStar’s international network. This facility was left to DyStar by our founders, who launched Indigo research and production more than 125 years ago.We are aware that the modification will affect our staff members, clients, and suppliers. We want to reassure you that throughout the restructuring process, we are dedicated to treating all impacted parties with respect and decency.

We thank everyone. We value our employees’ devotion and commitment to the company, and we are devoted to giving them all the support they require, including severance benefits. In order to assist our impacted employees and their families during this time, DyStar will also collaborate with the local government and Human Resources.

All valued customers and suppliers will soon hear from DyStar. Our top priorities also include completing all unfinished business, talking over any concerns regarding the reform programme, and exploring ways to capitalise on upcoming opportunities.

DyStar Group is still devoted to its clients, and we will keep providing our services to them through the rest of our locations around the world. We are dedicated to upholding the confidence and support of our clients, vendors, and the neighbourhood because we value these relationships.
