Investors Are A Phone Call Away; Says Andhra CM

According to chief minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, one reason Andhra Pradesh routinely ranks first for ease of doing business is because “we are just a phone call away.”The state has won the top spot in the rankings of the Department for the Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade three times in a row (2022, 2019, and 2017). With a gross state product growth rate of 11.43 percent, it is also one of the states with the greatest population growth.

Every chief minister regularly extols the virtues of his state, according to Reddy. “But I’m asking you (industrialists) to visit and experience the environment, and I promise you that you will have a prosperous future.” He emphasised the infrastructure and coastline of the state. “With six active ports and four more, our coastline is the second-largest in the nation.We have six airports that connect the nation, and AP will have three of the country’s 11 industrial corridors, which will encompass 80% of the districts, he said. With a coastline of 974 kilometres, Andhra Pradesh is positioned as India’s entryway to the southeast. In addition to the six current ports, it wants to build four more ones.that trio taking place on March 3 in Visakhapatnam.

Industrial corridors between Visakhapatnam and Chennai, Chennai and Bengaluru, and Hyderabad and Bengaluru are now being built.
