The government announced on Friday that it expects more than 250 purchasers from more than 30 nations, including Taiwan, Germany, Switzerland, Guinea (South Africa), South Korea, Russia, and Luxembourg, to attend the technical textiles show known as “Technotex 2023.”
The exhibition, which will take place in Mumbai from February 22 to 24, will centre on the idea of “Envisioning Indian Technological Textiles@ 2047.”
Rajiv Saxena, Joint Secretary in the Textiles Ministry, told reporters, “We are anticipating more than 250 customers from more than 30 nations.”
He stated that in addition to CEO Forum, which will be presided over by Textiles Minister Piyush Goyal on February 24, the three-day event would include B2B (business-to-business) meetings, conferences, and seminars.
According to Saxena, deals will likely be reached to produce technical textiles in India. Dignitaries from several nations and state governments are present during the event. The event will be held in Maharashtra, with Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Madhya Pradesh serving as partner states. The show will feature more than 150 Technical Textiles exhibitors and purchasers from more than 30 nations, according to the ministry, including Taiwan, Germany, Switzerland, Guinea (South Africa), South Korea, Russia, and Luxembourg.
The Textile Ministry highlighted the significance of Technotex 2023 and pledged its support in demonstrating the enormous potential for trade and investment between India and other nations in the technical textile sector.
