Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles 2025 Highlights Global Innovation

Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition returns from 20 – 22 August 2025 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), reaffirming its position as Asia’s leading platform for the global home and contract textile industry.

The fair will feature nearly 900 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions, including eight new participating countries, across 100,000 sqm in four halls. Beyond sourcing, the event will present a comprehensive fringe programme, inspiring and connecting professionals with an emphasis on sustainability and innovation shaping the future of home textiles.

To improve sourcing efficiency, the exhibition will host 15+ product zones, including upholstery, sofa fabrics, bedding, curtains, sun protection, and more. Each hall will focus on a theme:

  • Brand Fabrics Hall (5.1)
  • Trendy Fabrics Hall (5.2)
  • International Brands & Household Hall (6.1)
  • Furniture Fabrics Hall (6.2)

Exhibitors will also provide contract business services, ensuring tailored solutions for operational efficiency.

This edition highlights eco-conscious offerings, with exhibitors such as O Jia He Home Textile Co Ltd (China), Aleran Tekstil (Türkiye), Char Ltd (Bulgaria), and Tourgo Co Ltd (China). New entries include Alborz Tavana Carpet (Iran), Associacao Home (Portugal), and Home Textile Export Council (Egypt).

The Editors Zone will showcase 20 exhibitors representing 53 brands from 16 countries, 23 of which are new. Notable additions include Art Home Korea (Korea) and Kaeen Sdn Bhd (Malaysia), alongside established names like Beijing Ya Da (China), Rioma (Spain), and Raffinato (USA).

The fair also highlights six major Chinese pavilions (Haining, Huzhou, Linping Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Wujiang Suzhou, and Tongxiang) while welcoming buyers from 63 countries and 19 delegations — a 73% rise from 2024.

Fringe Programme Themes:

  • NextGen (Future & Textile Zone): AI-driven material and design insights led by Ms Anja Bisgaard Gaede, CEO of SPOTT trends & business.
  • Palette (Designer & Guided Tours): Curated by Ms Camilla Rudnicki, Founder of Camilla Rudnicki Home & Interior, Denmark.
  • Go-Green (Econogy Forum): Sustainability and technology integration with experts from China, Hong Kong, Italy, and the US.
  • Connector (Home Textiles x Interior Decoration Summit): Thought leaders discuss industry transformation, market trends, and strategy seminars from Colombia, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

The fair will also feature the 2026/27 China Home Textile Trend Area and sessions such as Rednote: Weaving the Ideal Home, Home Textile Trend Insights, and the 11th Home Furniture & Textile TOP Business Matching.

The event is jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, CCPIT – Sub-Council of Textile Industry, and the China Home Textile Association (CHTA).
