The new year is bringing fresh commitments to sustainability, as 11 leading brands take a stand to transform their supply chains and protect the world’s forests. Companies including Boden, Nobis, Native Shoes, Bobo Choses, Finisterre, SMCP, and moodytiger have joined Canopy’s CanopyStyle and Pack4Good initiatives, pledging to eliminate Ancient and Endangered Forests from their textile and paper packaging supply chains.
Joining them are Next Gen innovators Circulose, Palouse Fiber Packaging, and Medoola—pioneering sustainable materials from clothing waste, wheat straw, and food waste. Additionally, paper packaging producer Checkpoint Systems is committing to responsible sourcing.
Driving Systemic Change in Fashion & Packaging
As part of their sustainability policies, these companies are embracing low-impact, low-carbon, and circular alternatives like recycled textiles and agricultural residues to reduce their environmental footprint. With these new additions:
CanopyStyle now includes 578 brands representing $1.646 trillion in annual revenue.
Pack4Good has reached 466 brands, valued at over $341.4 billion.
Every year, 3.4 billion trees are cut down for packaging and fabrics like viscose. By adopting Next Gen solutions, these brands are building resilient supply chains while alleviating pressure on forests—one of the fastest, most effective ways to combat climate change and biodiversity loss.
A Unified Voice for Sustainability
“Boden is thrilled to collaborate with Canopy to eliminate sourcing from Ancient and Endangered Forests. Our customers understand the critical role these ecosystems play in our lives.” – Helen Webb-Carter, Head of Fabric, Boden
“We are excited to welcome these brands into CanopyStyle and Pack4Good. Their commitment to sustainable sourcing and circular solutions is a crucial step toward keeping forests standing, protecting biodiversity, and securing a climate-safe future.” – Nicole Rycroft, Executive Director, Canopy
By joining forces with Canopy, these companies are part of a global movement of over 1,000 brands leading the charge toward a sustainable future. Together, they are redefining the fashion and packaging industries—turning them into climate solutions rather than contributors to deforestation.
Sustainability is not a trend—it’s the future.
