On Earth Day 2025, ReCircle, a pioneer in India’s circular economy space, is spotlighting the country’s growing textile waste crisis. With the world producing 92 million tonnes of textile waste annually, ReCircle is urging consumers, businesses, and creators to reconsider their approach to fashion and waste disposal.
This year’s Earth Day theme, “Our Power, Our Planet,” resonates deeply with ReCircle’s vision of collective action for a circular future. “The core problem isn’t just waste—it’s our linear way of thinking,” says Rahul Nainani, Co-Founder and CEO. “We must shift towards a model where responsibility extends beyond purchase to reuse and recovery.”
