Specialty chemicals company LANXESS has once again been recognized for its strong environmental leadership by the global non-profit CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project). In CDP’s latest assessment, LANXESS earned a coveted spot on the “A List” for Climate Change—a distinction reserved for the top 2% of over 24,700 evaluated companies worldwide. This marks the eighth time LANXESS has received this top-tier recognition.
The “A” grade reflects the company’s transparency in reporting and its active implementation of impactful climate strategies, including science-based targets and a structured climate protection plan. LANXESS has been submitting climate-related disclosures to CDP since 2012.
In addition to its climate score, LANXESS was also recognized for its water management efforts, receiving a commendable “A-” rating for its responsible use and stewardship of water resources.
Hubert Fink, member of the Board of Management of LANXESS AG, commented:
“Through our solutions and expertise, we are advancing sustainable development and helping our customers meet their environmental goals. CDP’s continued recognition confirms our direction and deep commitment to climate action.”
