Birla Cellulose Partners With TextileGenesis™ To Provide Traceability And Transparency Solutions

The Aditya Birla Group’s pulp and fibre division, Birla Cellulose, is a manufacturer of Man-Made Cellulosic Fibres (MMCF) with a focus on sustainability. Birla Cellulose manufactures tracer-enabled sustainable man-made cellulosic fibre and integrates with traceability platform to stay ahead of the sustainability curve. A block-chain enabled digital traceability technology called TextileGenesisTM, which records and certifies the use of sustainable fibres from fibre to garment, has partnered with Birla Cellulose.

GreenTrackTM – Fibre Traceability Tool, the company’s blockchain-based and molecular tracer-backed technology, was released in 2019 and currently includes 90+ brands and 1500+ value. chain partners joined with more than 56000 MT of fibre recorded globally.
